Redbridge Children and Young People’s Network (RYCPN)

One of the partners of the Redbridge LSCB is the Redbridge Children and Young People’s Network (RYCPN).

The Network is an ‘umbrella’ organisation which aims to support all voluntary and community groups working in Redbridge with children and young people aged 0 – 25 years.  The Network has a membership of around 300 community and voluntary groups as well as representation from the statutory sectors of social care, health and education.  The Network is represented on the Board and several of the Sub Groups.

The Network hold regular information sharing meetings to which guest speakers from across all sectors working with children and young people and their families are invited to present.  The meetings provide opportunities for groups to come and share information about their service, engage in consultations and ensure that they are kept up to date on key topics – including children’s safeguarding.  Meetings take place betw are due to take place on:

  • 2018:  17 January, 14 February, 21 March

Members of the Network can access safeguarding training via the Redbridge Council of Voluntary Services (RCVS) Training Programme or the LSCB Training Programme.
